One of the things people loved about my art show was the shadows that my cut outs created. They contained alot of drama within each piece as a result, and became a vital part of my artwork. What I cannot do on this webpage unfortunately is show you how this was…one must see it in real life. But this piece is a good example of what I am talking about. These trees are layered and spaced out to create depth. As a result some dramatic shadows are created on the pearl toned paper that the trees are sitting against.
